[15:26] DJ Earnshaw: relay = hope = love

[15:27] DJ Earnshaw: sting relay now in 20 other countries

[15:28] DJ Earnshaw: relationship with organizations in other countries, got help for someone in france by putting in touch with local organization

[15:29] In Kenzo: It does seem to help that there's already an awareness of the "Relay for Life" event outside of SL

[15:30] DJ Earnshaw: sting you cant do bake sales or car wash in sl but you can sell clothing and proceeds to ACS

[15:30] In Kenzo: Two years ago someone threw me in a jail cell inworld....then I was to find a friend to "bail me out" for charity donation to ACS

[15:33] In Kenzo: very true Gentle, good point. I met with another org that wanted to do SL healing work from hospital beds and they were afraid that most hospitals would block SL.

[15:33] Gentle Heron: The problem is that most hospitals don't have network accessibility

[15:33] DJ Earnshaw: worth thinking about

[15:38] cowgrl Crystal: I participate in that at all the rodeos that I go to on the West Coast, it is a huge deal and they all do it.

[15:38] Stingray9798 Raymaker accepted your inventory offer.

[15:39] In Kenzo: Fayandria, a quick question: how many mini-events typically are part of one large Relay event? It sounds like you have a very comprehensive plan that grows each year.

[15:48] In Kenzo: There are a group of avatars interested in starting a marrow donation program for those struggling with Leukemia, etc....are there others at ACS interested in this campaign or has someone else from your organization talked about marrow donation?

[15:48] In Kenzo: go for it Stingray

[15:55] DJ Earnshaw: try not to step on toes of other organisations

[15:55] Glitteractica Cookie: FasterCures is a financial research engine

[15:55] Gentle Heron: We seem a lot closer to a cure for some cancers than for other problems. That's why I asked. It may be the low-hanging fruit, so to speak.

[15:56] Glitteractica Cookie: that works to get $$ directll for many diseases

[15:56] Glitteractica Cookie: The Leukemia and Lymphoma society gives patients (like me) a few thousand dollars

[15:56] Glitteractica Cookie: to patients
