The Power of Visual Art for Social Good for the July 31 Nonprofit Commons Meeting
This Friday, July 31st, TechSoup's Nonprofit Commons in Second Life meeting will feature Michelle Morton presenting on using social photo sharing sites like Pinterest. And how creative images and video can visually tell the story of your org’s mission, challenge perceptions, and is a powerful tool for initiating change.
VIRTUALVillage Media will also share info on their recently launched social good Visual Art Contest, whose theme is “Art Changes the World”. The contest invites people to share their vision, in five categories, on how art can change the world. Open to ALL visual mediums and artists including: 3D and motion graphics, machinima, short films, digital art, fine art, photographers, designers, architects, and other creatives.
